As I painted this, I meditated on Jesus; the Groom- the Lover of our souls. The perfect love we encounter in his person is a reflection of the type of intimacy we are meant to have in our earthly relationships. And still! It’s only a whisper. A small taste of the fullness of the one hidden in him… in his presence there is fullness of Joy and in his right hand pleasures forever more.
